【戦地巡礼プロジェクトとは】

私、ギャード ・クラマーによる、この非政治的な戦地巡礼プロジェクトは、かつて国のために命を捧げた人々を尊び、忘れないためのものです。 私は、過去の戦争で命を落とされた兵士たちの御霊の鎮魂のために世界の戦地を巡礼し、献花を行う活動をしています


【PTSD疾患者への支援】

この戦地巡礼プロジェクトは、戦争によって命を失った人々ためだけのものではなく、近年の戦争を経験した兵士たちや、国に奉仕し、または奉仕していた警察官、消防官など、その職務においてPTSD（心的外傷後ストレス障害）を患った人々も対象です。（国籍は問いません。） �戦争などによりPTSDを患った彼らが立ち直り、これまでどおりの生活に戻ることができるように手を差しのべることは、日本での私の使命です。 現在、私たちは、和歌山県の農村地において、彼らのためのコミュニティセンターを設立しようとしています。 しかし、センターを設立し、彼らが滞在できるようにするためには、その土地代や、宿泊施設となるコンテナハウスの購入ならびに輸送費など様々な経費がかかります。 今、私たちはその費用のための財政的支援を必要としています。


【私たちがすべきこと】

このセンターが設立されれば、そこに滞在する彼らたちは、周辺の住民の方々との良好な関係を構築して、困っている人たちを助けたり、センターにおいて日本の伝統的な文化や技術を習得したりして穏やかに過ごします。 また、地震、台風、川の氾濫などの自然災害に対してのボランティア活動を行うこともあります。 そして、夜にはセンターに設置されたキャンプファイヤーを囲んで談笑し、心穏やかな時間を過ごします。 私たちは、彼らに、空気の澄んだ、すばらしい景色のあるセンターに滞在してもらい、地域住民との和やか関係の中で、少しでも早くPTSDから回復してもらうための支援をしていきます。

Non-Political and Non-Profit Memorial Peace March by Gerd Kramer

This PEACE March is dedicated to commemorate the memory of those who gave their lives fighting for the honor for their country. Soldiers who were ordered to fight in the war and sacrificed their lives defending their country. Those who lost their lives must never be forgotten, as they remind us of the true importance of 'peace'.

This Memorial March is for those who gave their lives and for those in Uniform who are living amongst us today, and fighting their own battle with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Those who battle PTSD need our special focus and attention. We must help them so that they are able to live normal, regular lives, which they are truly deserving of. I am working towards setting up a community center for those who suffer from PTSD in Japan, at the country side of Wakayama, for people who are ,or have served the country in the past.

We aim to build this center ourselves, but are in need of financial support which would be essential towards payment for the land/location, shipping containers which would be converted to houses, where people requiring help can stay. This reforming facility is my ultimate vision.

Those in uniform -- Japanese and German self defence forces, firefighters, police and others -- are in need of your help. Please support and help us build this PTSD-dedicated community center. People living in this center would help out the near-by villages in several job roles, be it traditional Japanese handicraft, arts, etc. They will be engaged in studying art and culture, and will also be there to help the larger community in case of any emergency -- like natural disasters - earthquakes, typhoons, rivers overflowing the banks etc. The idea is to help these PTSD survivors live a regular life, get them involved in community work, forge a sense of belonging, give them adequate opportunities to learn, grow, and earn. They would also get the opportunity to come together as a family, probably gather around a campfire at night and share their personal stories, thereby helping each other in the process to recover from PTSD.
